With contagious passion and energy, grit and determination, Åsa lead the City of Stockholm’s transformation into a climate-positive, fossil-fuel-free city where both citizens and nature prosper. As a former Minister for gender quality, as well as former Minister for Financial Markets and Deputy Minister for Finance, she holds a wealth of experiences needed to push for the radical change needed to turn Stockholm into a resilient and circular society.

Åsa has a background in civil engineering and has worked as a management consultant. Her many years in leading positions in civil society have thought her to rally people around a common cause and create lasting change.
