In 2021 local municipalities around Reykjanes in Iceland along with the government and 10 private companies in the area started the journey to build The Circularity Park. The goal of the project is to increase sustainable resource management in the area. Iceland´s international airport, run by Isavia, is the biggest company in the area and has taken a leading role on building The Circularity Park.
