Jyri Seppälä

Professor Jyri Seppälä is the director of the Climate Solutions Unit at the Finnish Environment Institute (SYKE). His scientific work has mainly focused on the life cycle assessment of products and services in which climate, circular economy and sustainability assessments have played a central role. He has been the responsible leader in several large R&D studies and has been involved in different working groups where he has supported the preparation of regulations for which he has also produced background information.
